Brief Description
Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf (also known as Howling II: Stirba – Werewolf Bitch) is a 1985 cult horror film directed by Philippe Mora. It serves as the incredibly campy, bizarre, and widely criticized direct sequel to the acclaimed 1981 horror classic The Howling. While the original film was a tense, grounded masterclass in practical special effects, Howling II pivoted into jaw-dropping "so-bad-it's-good" B-movie territory. The production completely re-wrote the werewolf lore—revealing that traditional silver is actually useless and that the creatures can only be killed using weapons made of titanium.
Plot:
Following the shocking, on-screen television death of journalist Karen White at the climax of the first film, her brother, Ben White (Reb Brown), attends her funeral. There, he is approached by the enigmatic occult investigator and werewolf hunter Stefan Crosscoe (Christopher Lee). Crosscoe reveals a terrifying truth: Karen was actually a werewolf, and the world is under an imminent threat from a global lupine population. To save humanity, Ben, Crosscoe, and a woman named Jenny Templeton (Annie McEnroe) must travel to the dark regions of Transylvania. Their mission is to track down and destroy Stirba (Sybil Danning), the immortal, leather-clad, 10,000-year-old queen of all werewolves, before she can unleash a full-scale werewolf apocalypse.
