Brief Description  Play Dead (also known as Satan's Dog or Killer Dog) is a 1983 American supernatural horror film directed by Peter Wittman and starring Yvonne De Carlo (The Munsters). Rather than just typical animal maulings, the possessed dog kills victims using complex tasks, including mixing lye into seltzer water, bathtub electrocution, vehicular manslaughter, and leash strangulation.

Plot:
The plot follows Hester Ramsey (Yvonne De Carlo), a wealthy, bitter, and isolated heiress living in a large Texas estate. Hester has harbored a decades-long grudge against her estranged sister, whom she blames for stealing away the love of her life. Following her sister's death, Hester uses her secret knowledge of black magic and the occult to place a satanic spell on her docile, 200-pound Rottweiler named Greta. Hester gifts the bewitched dog to her grieving niece, Audrey (Stephanie Dunnam). Greta begins systematically murdering Audrey’s friends and family members—including her siblings—through a series of bizarre "accidents" engineered by the dog's unnaturally high intelligence and demonic possession. Hester's ultimate goal is to eliminate her surviving family and push Audrey to the brink of madness, leaving her niece to take the blame for the gruesome deaths.
