Brief Description  One Dark Night (also released under the alternative title Entity Force) is a 1983 American supernatural horror film directed by Tom McLoughlin. The movie blends the classic "night in a haunted house" trope with 1980s telekinetic horror, taking place almost entirely inside a dimly lit Hollywood mausoleum.

Plot:
The story follows Julie Wells (played by Meg Tilly), a high school outcast who wants to join a popular clique called "The Sisters". To prove her worth, she agrees to a hazing initiation: she must survive an overnight stay inside the local mausoleum. Unbeknownst to Julie and the club members planning to scare her, the crypt has a fresh resident: Karl Raymar, a recently deceased Russian occultist and psychic. Raymar discovered a way to unlock powerful telekinetic energy through death. As the night progresses, Raymar reanimates. He uses his psychic powers to slide open burial vaults and split coffins, unleashing an army of decaying corpses to terrorize the teens trapped inside. Filmed originally under the working title Rest in Peace before the release of Poltergeist, the movie faced post-production delays before securing wide theatrical distribution by Comworld Pictures in January 1983. It has earned a dedicated cult following among 1980s horror fans, celebrated for its practical special effects, creepy atmosphere, and unique climax involving telekinetically manipulated, floating corpses.
