Brief Description  Mausoleum (1983) is an American supernatural horror B-movie directed by Michael Dugan. It is a campy, FX-driven possession film heavily inspired by The Exorcist. The movie has gained a cult reputation among 1980s horror fans for its unique practical effects, schlocky writing, and inclusion in the UK's infamous "video nasty" era.

Plot:
The story revolves around Susan Walker Nomed. As a traumatized 10-year-old attending her mother's funeral, Susan feels an unnatural urge to enter her family’s ancient mausoleum. Inside, she accidentally unleashes and is possessed by a malevolent, bloodthirsty demon that has cursed and preyed upon the firstborn women of her family lineage for generations. Twenty years later, Susan is a beautiful, wealthy housewife married to Oliver Farrell. The dormant ancestral demon begins to completely take over her body and mind. Whenever the demon takes control, Susan's eyes glow green, and she utilizes brutal telekinetic powers to make victims explode, levitate, or face gruesome deaths. As a trail of bodies piles up around her, her husband and her psychologist, Dr. Simon Andrews, notice her bizarre behavior and race to find an ancient ritual—involving a sacred crown of thorns—to banish the demon back to the crypt before it is too late.
