Brief Description
Puppet Master II is a 1990 direct-to-video horror film written by David Pabian and directed by Dave Allen. It is the second film in the Puppet Master franchise, the sequel to 1989's Puppet Master, and stars Elizabeth Maclellan, Gregory Webb, Charlie Spradling, Jeff Weston and Nita Talbot as paranormal investigators who are terrorized by the animate puppets of an undead Andre Toulon, played by Steve Welles.
Plot:
The story opens at Shady Oaks Cemetery, where the sentient puppets dig up and resurrect their creator, Andre Toulon, using a mysterious life-giving fluid. Now a mummified and scarred figure, Toulon needs fresh human brain tissue and a rare Egyptian herb to recreate his magic formula. Meanwhile, a team of paranormal researchers arrives at the Bodega Bay Inn to investigate the strange and violent events from the first movie. Toulon disguises himself as a bandaged, sunglass-wearing inn owner named Eriquee ChaneƩ. He soon becomes obsessed with one of the investigators, Carolyn Bramwell, believing she is the direct reincarnation of his deceased wife, Elsa. As the puppets hunt the researchers for brain fluid, tensions rise between Toulon and his creations, leading to a bloody betrayal.
