Brief Description
Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) is an American comedy-horror film and the wild, satirical sequel to the 1984 classic. Directed by Joe Dante, the movie moves the chaotic action from a small town to a high-tech corporate skyscraper in Manhattan.
Plot:
Six years after the events in the small town of Kingston Falls, Billy Peltzer and Kate Beringer live in New York City and work at the high-tech Clamp Center corporate tower. When their friendly little Mogwai friend, Gizmo, is captured by scientists in the building's genetic lab, an accidental splash of water causes him to spawn a new batch of furry offspring. These new creatures eat after midnight and transform into a mischievous army of green gremlins. After invading the laboratory, the monsters drink experimental chemical serums and mutate into bizarre new forms—including a hyper-intelligent Brain Gremlin, a bat-like creature, and a spider hybrid—forcing Billy, Kate, and Gizmo to stop the horde before they escape into Manhattan.
