Brief Description  Warlock is a 1989 American supernatural horror film directed by Steve Miner and written by David Twohy. Julian Sands stars as the title character, a son of Satan who travels from the late 17th century to the modern era with the mission of destroying the world. Lori Singer and Richard E. Grant co-star as a 20th-century woman and a 17th-century witch-hunter attempting to stop him, respectively.

Plot:
A 17th-century sorcerer (played by Julian Sands) who escapes execution in 1691 Boston when Satan teleports him 300 years into the future to modern-day Los Angeles. He is relentlessly pursued by Giles Redferne (Richard E. Grant), a determined witch-hunter from his own time who must navigate the confusing, unfamiliar 20th-century world to stop him. The warlock's ultimate mission is to locate and reunite three scattered fragments of the Grand Grimoire, a powerful satanic book containing the true name of God which, if read backward, will completely unmake creation. Along his destructive path, the warlock places a malicious curse on a young waitress named Kassandra (Lori Singer), causing her to age rapidly by 20 years every day. Kassandra teams up with Redferne in a desperate race against time to break her curse, reclaim her youth, and prevent the end of the world.
