Brief Description  The Unholy is a 1988 American horror film directed by Camilo Vila and starring Ben Cross, Ned Beatty, Hal Holbrook, and Trevor Howard in his final role. The film follows a Roman Catholic priest in New Orleans who finds himself battling a demonic force after being appointed to a new parish.

Plot:
After two priests are brutally murdered at a local parish, a stoic and pure-hearted priest named Father Michael (played by Ben Cross) is assigned to St. Agnes Church. Father Michael must battle a powerful demon known as Daesidarius or The Unholy, which takes the form of a beguiling, beautiful seductress (played by Nicole Fortier). The demon corrupts and destroys sinners by murdering them during the commission of a sin, thereby damning their souls to Hell. Guided by a blind demonologist named Father Silva (in the final role of screen legend Trevor Howard) and Archbishop Mosely (played by Hal Holbrook), Father Michael faces ultimate temptation between Ash Wednesday and Easter.
