Brief Description  Not of This Earth (1988) is an American low-budget science fiction horror comedy film directed by Jim Wynorski. It is a campy, B-movie remake of Roger Corman's 1957 cult classic of the same name. The film is most notable for starring Traci Lords in her very first mainstream acting role after leaving the adult film industry.

Plot:
The story follows a mysterious, anemic alien named Mr. Johnson (Arthur Roberts) who arrives on Earth from the dying planet Davanna. His race is suffering from a devastating blood disease, and his mission is to determine if human blood can be harvested to save them. To survive while conducting his research, Mr. Johnson—who constantly wears dark sunglasses to hide his alien eyes—hires an unsuspecting blood-bank nurse named Nadine Story (Traci Lords) to assist him with daily blood transfusions. As Nadine and Mr. Johnson's chauffeur, Jeremy, begin to notice his bizarre behavior and strange high-tech communication devices, they discover his true identity as a space vampire who kills Earthlings to teleport their blood back to his home world.
