Villian(s)  Tiny alien creatures

Actor(s):  Tom Bartlett, Paige Sullivan, Steven Boggs, Kelley Palmer

Brief Description  Hobgoblins is a 1988 low-budget American independent sci-fi comedy horror film written, directed, and produced by Rick Sloane. Shot over the course of just one week on a meager $15,000 budget, the film is widely notorious as a blatant rip-off of Gremlins. It has secured a massive cult following and widespread infamy for being considered one of the worst films ever made, a reputation cemented after it was savagely mocked on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Plot:
The story follows Kevin (Tom Bartlett), a newly hired rookie night watchman at an old, abandoned film studio vault. Despite explicit warnings from the veteran guard, Mr. McCreedy, to stay out of a secure, mysterious chamber, Kevin's curiosity gets the upper hand. He accidentally opens the vault and unleashes a pack of Hobgoblins—small, furry alien creatures that had been trapped there for 30 years. The creatures possess a unique and deadly power: they can tap into a human's subconscious mind and grant their wildest fantasies. However, these fantasies quickly twist into fatal scenarios designed to kill the victims. After escaping into the city, the creatures home in on Kevin's group of teenage friends, forcing Kevin to track them down and prove his manliness before the monsters leave a trail of complete chaos.
