Villian(s)  Crazed supernatural killer

Actor(s):  Donald Pleasence, Ellie Cornell, Danielle Harris, Michael Pataki

Brief Description  Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) is an American slasher horror film that marks the revival of the iconic silent killer following the franchise's brief, poorly received experiment with an anthology format in Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Directed by Dwight H. Little and written by Alan B. McElroy, the movie acts as a direct sequel to 1981's Halloween II and serves as the launchpad for the supernatural "Thorn Trilogy" story arc.

Plot:
The film picks up exactly ten years after the original Haddonfield massacre. Michael Myers (George P. Wilbur) has spent the last decade in a deep coma at a maximum-security prison hospital following the explosion at the end of Halloween II. On October 30, 1988, while being transferred to Smith's Grove Sanitarium, Michael awakens after overhearing the ambulance crew mention the existence of his surviving niece, Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris). After slaughtering the transfer attendants, Michael steals a mask and returns to Haddonfield, Illinois.

His target is seven-year-old Jamie, the orphaned daughter of Laurie Strode—who was written out of the film via a car accident. Jamie is being raised by her resourceful foster sister, Rachel Carruthers (Ellie Cornell), and is entirely unaware of her murderous uncle despite suffering from recurring nightmares. Meanwhile, Michael's eccentric and obsessed psychiatrist, Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence), survives his past encounters and quickly returns to hunt "the shape" down before another bloodbath unfolds on Halloween night.
