Brief Description
Fright Night Part 2 (1988) is an American supernatural horror-comedy film directed by Tommy Lee Wallace. It serves as the direct sequel to the 1985 horror classic Fright Night, bringing back original stars William Ragsdale and Roddy McDowall, along with a signature synthesizer score by Brad Fiedel.
Plot:
Three years after defeating the suave vampire Jerry Dandridge, college student Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) has undergone extensive therapy. His psychiatrist has successfully convinced him that vampires were just a manifestation of his traumatic imagination. Charley's rational new reality is shattered when a mysterious, mesmerizing performance artist named Regine Dandridge (Julie Carmen) arrives on campus with a bizarre entourage. Regine is actually the sister of Jerry Dandridge, and she is seeking ultimate revenge. Rather than simply killing Charley, she targets him for a slow, agonizing seduction meant to transform him into an undead puppet for eternity. To survive the bloodsucking conspiracy, Charley must re-team with his skeptical new girlfriend Alex (Traci Lind) and his old ally, the washed-up TV horror host Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall).
