Brief Description  The Beyond (originally titled ...E tu vivrai nel terrore! L'aldilà) is a 1981 Italian supernatural horror film directed by the legendary "Godfather of Gore," Lucio Fulci. It is widely celebrated as the second and most famous installment in Fulci’s loose "Gates of Hell" trilogy, sandwiched between City of the Living Dead (1980) and The House by the Cemetery (1981).

Plot:
The story begins in 1927 Louisiana at the Seven Doors Hotel, where an angry lynch mob brutally murders a painter named Schweick under the suspicion that he is a warlock. This horrific execution inadvertently opens one of the Seven Gates of Hell, allowing the dead a pathway into the living world. Decades later, a young woman from New York named Liza Merril (played by Catriona MacColl) inherits the decaying hotel and attempts to renovate and reopen it. As soon as work begins, the hell portal is re-activated. Liza is quickly thrust into a reality-bending nightmare filled with gruesome "accidents," ghostly warnings from a blind woman named Emily, and a rapidly escalating zombie outbreak. Alongside a local doctor named John McCabe (David Warbeck), Liza tries to survive as space, time, and sanity completely disintegrate around them.
