Brief Description  The Lost Boys is a 1987 American comedy horror film directed by Joel Schumacher and written by Jeffrey Boam, Janice Fischer, and James Jeremias. Based on a story by Fischer and Jeremias, it follows two teenage brothers who move with their divorced mother to the fictional California town of Santa Carla, which they discover is a haven for vampires.

Plot:
The story follows newly divorced mother Lucy Emerson (Dianne Wiest) and her two teenage sons, Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam (Corey Haim), as they move to the coastal Californian town of Santa Carla. Unbeknownst to them, the town is the murder capital of the world and a local haven for a gang of rebellious, motorcycle-riding teenage vampires led by the charismatic David (Kiefer Sutherland). When older brother Michael falls for a local girl named Star (Jami Gertz), he gets pulled into David's inner circle and slowly begins transforming into a vampire. Meanwhile, younger brother Sam teams up with self-proclaimed comic-book-nerd vampire hunters Edgar and Alan Frog (Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander) to save Michael and eradicate the undead threat before it consumes their entire family.
