Brief Description  Monster in the Closet (released in 1986/1987) is a cult classic horror-comedy spoof distributed by Troma Entertainment. Directed and written by Bob Dahlin, the PG-rated movie parodies classic sci-fi and horror tropes from the 1950s through the 1980s. The creature inside the suit was portrayed by Kevin Peter Hall, the iconic 7'2" actor who famously played the titular alien in Predator (1987) and Harry in Harry and the Hendersons.

Plot:
The film is set in Chestnut Hills, California, where a series of bizarre, brutal murders plague the community. The common denominator? Every single victim is attacked and killed inside their own closet by an unseen menace. Mild-mannered rookie journalist and obituary writer Richard Clark (Donald Grant) is assigned to cover the story. He teams up with a brilliant biology professor, Diane Bennett (Denise DuBarry), and her hyper-intelligent child prodigy son, "Professor" Bennett (played by a very young Paul Walker). Together with Diane's eccentric mentor Dr. Pennyworth (Henry Gibson) and a local priest, they attempt to track down the creature.

The situation quickly escalates into a national emergency. The military—led by the bombastic, heavy-handed General Turnbull (Donald Moffat)—steps in with tanks and heavy artillery, only to find the scaly creature is completely bullet-proof, laser-proof, and bomb-proof. Ultimately, the plot takes a madcap, unpredictable turn when the monster falls in love with Richard, leading to a final showdown in San Francisco where it meets its match trying to fit into the closet of the Transamerica Pyramid. The film is highly notable for featuring the very first movie roles for Paul Walker (The Fast and the Furious) and Stacy Ferguson (better known as Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas).
