Villian(s)  Mutants

Actor(s):  Linnea Quigley, Ken Abraham, Kim McKamy, Michael Aranda

Brief Description  Creepozoids (1987) is a low-budget, post-apocalyptic sci-fi horror B-movie directed by David DeCoteau. Produced by Charles Band and starring scream queen Linnea Quigley, the film is heavily recognized as a campy, ultra-low-budget rip-off of Ridley Scott's Alien. Though the movie never explicitly defines what a "creepozoid" is, the name refers to the various bizarre, genetically mutated threats stalking the lab.

Plot:
Set in the dystopian future of 1998, six years after a devastating nuclear war has reduced the Earth to rubble, the story follows a group of five military deserters trying to avoid toxic acid rain and mutant nomads. They take shelter in a seemingly abandoned underground government research facility. While exploring the facility, they discover that scientists were genetically modifying amino acids to eliminate the human need for food. Unfortunately, the experiment went horribly wrong. The facility is now overrun by deadly, genetically engineered monsters that do not take kindly to intruders. The survivors are picked off one by one as they attempt to fight their way out of the claustrophobic corridors.
