Brief Description  Witchboard is a 1986 American supernatural horror film written and directed by Kevin Tenney in his directorial debut. The film stars Tawny Kitaen, Todd Allen, and Stephen Nichols. It centers on a woman who becomes dangerously obsessed with a Ouija board, inadvertently inviting an evil spirit to terrorize and possess her.

Plot:
The story begins at a house party hosted by college student Linda Brewster (Tawny Kitaen) and her carpenter boyfriend, Jim Morar (Todd Allen). Linda's ex-boyfriend, Brandon Sinclair (Stephen Nichols)—who is also Jim's estranged childhood best friend—brings a Ouija board to the gathering. Brandon attempts to demonstrate the spiritual world by contacting "David," the peaceful spirit of a deceased 10-year-old boy he frequently communicates with. However, Jim’s antagonistic and cynical remarks disrupt the session, agitating the connection. Instead of David, they accidentally cross paths with a highly aggressive, malicious entity. The next day, Linda discovers that Brandon accidentally left his Ouija board behind.

Despite Brandon's explicit warnings never to use a talking board alone, a fascinated Linda begins conducting solo sessions to reach out to David. Unfortunately, the entity on the other side is actually Carlos Malfeitor, a malevolent 1930s serial killer who committed a string of axe murders. As Linda continues her solitary sessions, Malfeitor uses a progressive phenomenon known as "progressive entrapment" to terrorize those around her, execute a campaign of gruesome deaths, and systematically take control of Linda's mind and body. To save her, the two feuding men—Jim and Brandon—must reluctantly unite to uncover the spirit's true identity and stop the demonic possession before it is too late.
