Brief Description  Vamp (1986) is an American horror-comedy film written and directed by Richard Wenk. Celebrated as a campy '80s cult classic, the movie is best known for its striking neon-drenched aesthetic and a memorable, avant-garde performance by pop icon Grace Jones. Many film historians note that the premise of Vamp—unsuspecting travelers trapped in a remote strip club run by a syndicate of vampires—heavily influenced Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's 1996 hit From Dusk till Dawn.

Plot:
The story follows college students Keith (Chris Makepeace) and A.J. (Robert Rusler), who are desperate to gain entry into a university fraternity. To secure their recruitment, they promise to hire a stripper for a massive fraternity party. They convince a wealthy student named Duncan (Gedde Watanabe)—primarily because he owns a car—to drive them into a sketchy, nocturnal district of the city. They end up at a seedy, underworld strip club called the After Dark Club. Inside, they are mesmerized by Katrina (Grace Jones), a towering, silent exotic dancer whose act is a bizarre piece of performance art. However, the boys quickly realize they have made a terrible mistake: Katrina is an ancient, bloodthirsty vampire, and the entire club's staff and surrounding neighborhood are populated by a hive of undead ghouls. What started as a carefree frat prank rapidly devolves into a desperate, neon-lit struggle for survival as the students try to escape the neighborhood alive.
