Brief Description  Little Shop of Horrors is a 1986 American horror comedy musical film directed by Frank Oz. The movie is a cult classic adaptation of the popular 1982 Off-Broadway musical by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, which itself was based on Roger Corman's low-budget 1960 film. Driven by a catchy 1960s rock-and-roll, doo-wop, and Motown-style score, the movie blends a genuine, heartfelt romance with dark, tragic, and bloody humor.

Plot:
The story is set in a dreary neighborhood called Skid Row, focusing on Seymour Krelborn, a meek, clumsy, and orphaned assistant working at the failing Mushnik's Flower Shop. Seymour is secretly in love with his sweet co-worker, Audrey, who is stuck in an abusive relationship with a sadistic, nitrous-oxide-addicted dentist named Orin Scrivello. Everything changes during a total eclipse of the sun when Seymour discovers a "strange and unusual" unidentified plant. He names the plant Audrey II. The exotic plant quickly becomes a media sensation, attracting crowds of curious customers and saving the flower shop from bankruptcy. However, Seymour soon discovers a horrific catch: the plant does not grow on water and sunlight. It feeds exclusively on human flesh and blood. As Audrey II grows larger, it gains the ability to speak and sing—demanding more blood and manipulating Seymour into supplying an increasingly gruesome menu of bodies to sustain his newfound fame and romance.
