Villian(s)  Undead killer

Actor(s):  Thom Mathews, Jennifer Cooke, David Kagen, Renée Jones

Brief Description  Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives is a 1986 American supernatural slasher film written and directed by Tom McLoughlin. As the sixth installment in the Friday the 13th franchise, the movie is widely celebrated by fans and critics on platforms like IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes for shifting the series toward a more self-aware, comedic, and gothic tone. It corrects course from the poorly received previous entry by officially resurrecting the true hockey-masked killer as an unstoppable, undead zombie.

Plot:
Still heavily traumatized by his childhood encounter with Jason Voorhees, an adult Tommy Jarvis (Thom Mathews) escapes a mental institution to find closure. He travels to a local cemetery alongside his friend Hawes with a desperate plan: dig up Jason's corpse and cremate it to ensure he never returns. However, things go catastrophically wrong. In a fit of rage, Tommy impales the rotting corpse with a metal fence post right as a severe storm rolls in. A sudden lightning strike hits the metal stake, sending a high-voltage surge that acts like a Frankenstein-style reanimation, bringing Jason back to life with supernatural superhuman strength.

Jason immediately kills Hawes and heads straight back to his old stomping grounds—Crystal Lake, which has been desperate to escape its bloody history and renamed "Forest Green". Tommy tries to warn the local law enforcement, but the skeptical Sheriff Garris locks him up, assuming Tommy is just a delusional troublemaker. Partnering with Megan, the sheriff's rebellious daughter, Tommy must break free and find a way to chain Jason back to the bottom of the lake where his dark legend first began. This entry marks the exact moment Jason Voorhees officially transitions from a mortal, human killer into a completely supernatural, undead force.
