Brief Description
Demons 2 (Italian: Dèmoni 2) is a 1986 Italian horror film directed by Lamberto Bava and produced by master of horror Dario Argento. Serving as the meta-sequel to the 1985 cult classic Demons, this installment trades the original's movie theater setting for a state-of-the-art, hyper-modern high-rise apartment complex trapped behind impenetrable security glass.
Plot:
The narrative follows a group of isolated residents who are all watching a television documentary about the "forbidden zone" where the events of the first demon outbreak occurred. During the broadcast, a television character accidentally reanimates a dormant demon. In a surreal, meta-twist, the monstrous creature tears its way directly through the television screen of a resident named Sally, who is hosting a birthday party. The infection spreads rapidly throughout the building via acidic demon blood, scratches, and bites. The trapped tenants—including a group of partygoers, a lonely young boy, a pregnant woman, a prostitute, and a gym full of bodybuilders—must fight for survival against a growing horde of bloodthirsty monsters.
