Villain(s)  Aliens

Actor(s):  John Ashley, Cynthia Hull, Warren Hammack, Chet Davis

Brief Description  The Eye Creatures (also known as Attack of the Eye Creatures) is a 1965 (released in 1967) Z-budget sci-fi horror film directed by Larry Buchanan. A low-cost color remake of 1957's Invasion of the Saucer Men, it follows a small-town alien invasion stopped by teenagers while the military and police remain largely inept.

Plot:
A flying saucer lands in a rural lover's lane area. Local military personnel fail to monitor the skies properly, using infrared scopes to spy on local couples making out instead of watching for UFOs. Teenagers Stan and Susan are trying to elope. Driving with their headlights off to stay hidden, they accidentally run over and kill one of the bulbous-headed alien creatures. The aliens kill a local drifter, hiding his body and leaving the dead alien in a way that gets Stan arrested for murder by local police. Meanwhile, a disembodied alien hand wreaks separate havoc. Stan escapes from jail, rallies his fellow teenagers to take action, and discovers that the shambling, mutant-like eye creatures are vulnerable to bright light and explode when exposed to intense headlights. The military eventually locates the main saucer and blows it up.
