Brief Description
The Curse of the Fly (1965) is a British sci-fi horror film and the third installment in The Fly series. Directed by Don Sharp, the movie follows Patricia Stanley, an asylum escapee who marries Martin Delambre. She soon discovers her new family is hiding grotesque, mutated human results of teleportation experiments in their estate.
Plot:
A young woman named Patricia Stanley escapes from a mental hospital in her undergarments and is rescued by a motorist named Martin Delambre. Patricia and Martin quickly fall in love and marry, moving into the sprawling Delambre family mansion in Canada. Martin and his father, Henri Delambre, are secretly continuing their family's dangerous matter-teleportation experiments between Canada and London. Failed teleportation tests have created grotesque, insane human mutations that are locked away in the estate's stables, including Martin's hidden, undivorced first wife, Judith. Martin suffers from rapid physical decay and "instant aging" because of unstable genetic traits linked to the family's history with the teleporter. As police and asylum authorities close in on the mansion, escape plans go disastrously wrong, culminating in Martin rapidly decomposing into a skeleton before a police inspector's eyes.
