American financier Alexander King insists on shipping the sarcophagus and treasures back to London for a lucrative global roadshow, causing head archaeologist Sir Giles to resign in protest.

The mummy of Ra-Antef mysteriously vanishes from the exhibition hall and stalks the foggy streets of London.
