Brief Description  The Awful Dr. Orlof (originally released in 1962, and sometimes referenced or released in certain regions around 1964) is a pioneering Euro-horror film directed by Jesús Franco. It follows a mad doctor who kidnaps nightclub women to graft their skin onto his fire-scarred daughter, aided by a blind, sadistic henchman.

Plot:
Set in early 1900s Europe, young women begin disappearing from local nightclubs and dance halls. The kidnappings are carried out by Morpho, a brutal, blind and mute henchman controlled by the sadistic Dr. Orloff. Dr. Orloff brings the victims to his isolated coastal mansion/castle. His goal is to perform experimental skin grafts to repair the face of his daughter, Melissa, who was horribly burned and scarred in a fire. Police Inspector Tanner takes charge of the missing persons case. Tanner's fiancée, a young ballerina, becomes deeply involved when she realizes she bears a striking resemblance to the targeted women. Orloff's grafts repeatedly fail or reject, forcing him to continue his gruesome cycle of abduction and murder. The inspector tracks the trail of clues to Orloff's lair, leading to a confrontation where the monstrous Morpho turns on his master, destroying the laboratory and ending the reign of terror.
