Brief Description  In the futuristic year 2001, a United Nations international five-man crew lands on Uranus—the unmapped seventh planet. They discover a temperate environment controlled by a powerful, telepathic alien brain. The entity weaponizes their own memories and fears against them, materializing past loves and terrifying monsters before the crew fights back to stop its plan to conquer Earth.

Plot:
As the spaceship approaches Uranus, a mysterious, omnipotent alien entity detects them. It puts the crew into a temporary, collective trance to study their memories. When the crew finally lands, they expect a hostile environment with temperatures dropping to minus 200 degrees. Instead, they step out into a temperate, green forest complete with an apple tree and a idyllic, familiar Danish village. Soon after, they encounter beautiful women from their past lives and hometowns, including the captain’s former love, Ingrid. The crew initially enjoys the oasis but quickly notices structural anomalies. They discover an invisible, glowing forcefield barrier surrounding the Earth-like forest.

Beyond the barrier lies the actual, barren, and frozen wasteland of Uranus. The astronauts realize that nothing they see inside the barrier is naturally occurring; rather, the entire environment is a 3D physical manifestation of their thoughts and desires. However, the entity doesn't just pull positive memories. When one of the crew members inadvertently focuses on his deep-seated childhood fears, the environment shifts. A massive, grotesque, one-eyed rat-locust monster materializes and attacks them. The crew penetrates the barrier and descends into a network of subterranean caves. There, they uncover the planet's mastermind: a giant, pulsating, subterranean Cyclopean Alien Brain.

The Brain speaks to them telepathically, revealing its sinister master plan: it intends to drain the astronauts' minds completely, strip away their free will, hijack their spaceship, and travel back to conquer and rule Earth. The Brain manipulates reality to fight them, altering their physical weapons into imaginary, useless objects. The astronauts realize that the Alien Brain can only survive in the near-normal, warm subterranean temperatures of the caves. They construct a plan to utilize the spaceship's supply of liquid oxygen to freeze the alien's brain tissue, pairing the sub-zero blast with heavy blaster fire. They successfully freeze and destroy the entity. As the Brain dies, its illusions rapidly collapse. The lush Danish countryside disintegrates back into a frozen wasteland. The crew races back to Explorer XII just in time and blasts off from Uranus to return safely to Earth.
