Brief Description
I Eat Your Skin is a 1964 independent American horror film directed by Del Tenney that was shelved for years before being released in 1971 as a drive-in double feature with I Drink Your Blood.
Plot:
Publisher Duncan Fairchild and his wife Coral escort playboy writer Tom Harris to a remote Caribbean locale called Voodoo Island so Tom can find inspiration for an overdue novel. After an emergency beach landing, they meet local overseer Charles Bentley and a scientist, Dr. Augustus Biladeau, who is secretly using irradiated snake venom to turn islanders into crusty-faced, bug-eyed zombies. After a chaotic sequence involving a zombie suicide bomber with dynamite and a voodoo ritual where Bentley is exposed as the masked cult leader Papa Neybo, Dr. Biladeau rigs his laboratory to blow up the island before he is fatally stabbed.
