Brief Description  The Blancheville Monster (originally titled Horror) is a 1963 Italian Gothic horror film directed by Alberto De Martino. It follows young Emily de Blancheville as she returns to her gloomy family castle in France and discovers a sinister plot tied to an ancestral family curse.

Plot:
Emilie de Blancheville travels back to her family’s gloomy castle in France just days before her 21st birthday, accompanied by her friends John and Alice Taylor. Her brooding brother Roderic and a sinister doctor warn the visitors about an ancient prophecy carved on the family tomb. The legend states that the family line will end if a female descendant reaches the age of 21. A hideously burned and mentally deranged man—rumored to be their hidden father—escapes from the turret room and begins to stalk the halls. As Emilie falls into strange sleepwalking trances, the dark mystery unfolds to reveal who is truly trying to kill her before her birthday.
