Brief Description  Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970) is a British Gothic horror film produced by Hammer Film Productions, directed by Peter Sasdy, and starring Christopher Lee in his fourth appearance as the iconic Count Dracula. The film is highly regarded for its dark revenge plot that critiques Victorian hypocrisy and explores a lethal generation gap between strict parents and their children.

Plot:
The film opens directly during the climax of the previous movie, Dracula Has Risen from the Grave. An English businessman named Weller witnesses Dracula being impaled on a crucifix. After the vampire dissolves, Weller collects Dracula’s remains: a ring, a cloak, and powdered, dried blood. In Victorian London, three seemingly respectable, upper-class gentlemen—William Hargood, Samuel Paxton, and Jonathon Secker—run a hypocritical secret club. Ostensibly doing charitable work, they actually spend their nights indulging in brothels. Seeking more extreme thrills, they are introduced to Lord Courtley, a disgraced aristocrat and Satanist. Courtley convinces them to buy Dracula's relics from Weller. In a derelict church, Courtley mixes the dried blood with his own and commands the trio to drink. Terrified, the men refuse.

Courtley drinks the mixture himself, screams in agony, and collapses. Panicked, the three gentlemen beat Courtley's writhing body to death and flee. After they leave, Courtley's dead body transforms into Count Dracula. Furious at the murder of his servant, Dracula vows to destroy the three hypocrites by turning their own children against them. Dracula systematically seduces and hypnotizes the men's daughters—Alice Hargood, Lucy Paxton, and Jeremy Secker—forcing them to murder their own fathers. Alice’s lover, Paul, tracks Dracula back to the abandoned church. Paul restores the church’s altar, crosses, and Christian symbols. When Dracula attempts to attack, the restored holy atmosphere and the sound of the Lord's Prayer overwhelm him. The vampire falls onto the altar, dissolves into dust once more, and Alice is freed from his thrall.
