Brief Description  Monster from Green Hell (1957) is a 71-minute low-budget American science fiction B-movie directed by Kenneth G. Crane. The plot follows American space scientists whose experimental rocket carrying irradiated wasps malfunctions, crashes into Central Africa, and mutates the insects into giant, lethal monsters terrorizing the jungle.

Plot:
Astrobiologists Dr. Quent Brady (Jim Davis) and Dr. Dan Morgan (Robert Griffin) launch a test rocket carrying a queen wasp and its hive into the upper atmosphere to observe cosmic radiation effects. The rocket goes off course, carrying its payload out into space before crashing into an uncharted region of Central Africa. Months later, reports emerge from a territory known to locals as the "Green Hell" (near Mount Fanga) describing a giant monster terrorizing native villages and wildlife.

Realizing the radiation likely mutated their wasps, the two scientists secure funding and launch a safari expedition to find the rocket and clean up their mess. They brave droughts, hostile tribes, and local dangers along the way. The team tracks the giant wasps to a steaming volcano. Conventional weapons, rifles, and hand grenades fail to pierce the bugs' thick exoskeletons. Ultimately, a sudden volcanic eruption buries the monsters under a wave of lava. The main monster is a giant, mutated wasp that has grown "as big as a house" due to extreme exposure to cosmic radiation.
