Brief Description  Atom Age Vampire (originally titled Seddok, l'erede di Satana) is a 1960 Italian black-and-white science fiction horror film directed by Anton Giulio Majano. It follows a crazed professor who uses a radioactive-derived serum to restore a disfigured stripper's face, ultimately turning to murder and self-mutation to harvest the glands needed to maintain her beauty.

Plot:
Despite its American title, the film does not feature traditional vampires. Instead, it uses nuclear-age paranoia and mad science to create a "vampire of the atom age". The story follows Jeanette Moreneau, a beautiful nightclub dancer who is hideously scarred in a horrific car accident. Despondent over her ruined face and her fractured relationship with her boyfriend, Pierre, she is rescued from the brink of suicide by Monique, the assistant to a brilliant scientist named Professor Alberto Levin. Professor Levin has been experimenting with radiation and cellular biology. He has developed two serums derived from radioactive material: Serum 25 (Derma 25): A volatile formula that causes rapid cellular mutation and degeneration.

Serum 28 (Derma 28): A miracle formula capable of perfectly regenerating living tissue and reversing cellular damage. Levin uses Serum 28 to completely cure Jeanette, restoring her baseline beauty. However, during the process, Levin becomes completely infatuated with her. The horror begins when Levin realizes the cure is temporary. To sustain Jeanette’s beauty, he needs a continuous supply of the specific neck glands that naturally produce the regenerative enzymes—and the only source is other living women. After accidentally killing his assistant Monique to secure the first dose, Levin realizes he must hunt for more victims.

To overcome his moral guilt and give himself the physical power to commit murder, Levin injects himself with the degenerative Serum 25. The drug transforms him into a hulking, monstrous, deformed killer nicknamed "Seddok". Under this atomic alter-ego, he stalks the night, murdering young women to harvest their glands. Ultimately, the police and Jeanette's boyfriend, Pierre, grow suspicious of Levin's reclusive estate. As the net closes in, Levin realizes his murderous plot cannot be sustained forever, even though Jeanette is finally permanently cured. Driven mad by his mutations and the fear of losing Jeanette, he attempts to kill her so no one else can have her, but he is stopped and killed by his own gardener just as the authorities arrive.
