Brief Description  Directed by Charles Barton, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948) is a horror-comedy classic. Railway clerks Chick Young and Wilbur Grey deliver crates containing Dracula and Frankenstein’s Monster to a house of horrors. Dracula revives the Monster, plotting to place Wilbur's brain inside him, while Lawrence Talbot (the Wolf Man) tries to stop them.

Plot:
The story follows Chick Young (Bud Abbott) and Wilbur Grey (Lou Costello), two clumsy railway baggage handlers in northern Florida. They are tasked with delivering two mysterious crates to McDougal's House of Horrors wax museum. Unbeknownst to them, the crates contain the actual, living remains of Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi) and Frankenstein's Monster (Glenn Strange). While unloading the crates at the museum, Dracula awakens and uses his hypnotic powers to reanimate Frankenstein's Monster. Wilbur witnesses the monsters coming to life, but his terrified warnings are completely dismissed by the cynical Chick and the furious museum owner, Mr. McDougal (Frank Ferguson). The monsters escape to an island castle.

It is soon revealed that Dracula has allied himself with a brilliant mad scientist, Dr. Sandra Mornay (Lenore Aubert). Dracula's master plan is to replace the rebellious, strong-willed brain of Frankenstein's Monster with a mind that is easily controlled, dimwitted, and pliable—and he selects Wilbur as the perfect brain donor. Meanwhile, Lawrence Talbot / The Wolf Man (Lon Chaney Jr.) arrives from Europe on a desperate mission to destroy Dracula and stop the plot. He attempts to warn Chick and Wilbur, but his transformations during the full moon cause severe complications and comedic panic.

The climax takes place at the island castle during a chaotic masquerade ball and laboratory showdown. As Sandra and Dracula prepare to operate on Wilbur, Chick and Talbot arrive to save him. The full moon rises, causing Talbot to transform into the Wolf Man. A wild, multi-monster brawl ensues: the Wolf Man fights Dracula (who transforms into a bat to escape, only to be dragged down by the wolf), while the fully charged Frankenstein's Monster breaks free from his restraints and chases Chick and Wilbur across the castle. Ultimately, the monsters destroy each other or fall into the watery depths below, allowing Chick and Wilbur to escape via a rowboat. In a famous uncredited vocal cameo, the Invisible Man (voiced by Vincent Price) reveals he is on the boat with them, sending the duo diving into the water in terror.
